| About the House of Delegates
The WV House of Delegates is a branch of the WV Legislature. 100 Delegates are selected from throughout the state to represent the 58 districts of the state. There are a variety of Bills a Delegate could be involved with that may or may not become law for the State.
I decided to run because we NEED someone in the House that is a concerned with the needs of business. As a business owner, I am familiar with the issues businesses face. I am concerned with making the WV business climate competitive and fair to our businesses. As a mother, I am concerned with our state. I want it to be the best place for my children to live and be educated. I want there to be opportunities for them to raise their families here when they are grown.
I am familiar with the needs and problems facing labor and the many similar unfunded budgets many of our residents face.
I am pro-labor with a fiscally-conservative bias. I am 100% in favor of bi-partisan cooperation. As a Trustee on Fringe Benefit Funds and Pensions, I am familiar with working together to get things done.
I have a broad variety of community service. I have lived in Wheeling for the majority of my life. I have lived other places and chose to make my life and raise my family here. I have been doing so for the past 17 years. I have been in business for 17 years and have established myself in my position and am able to add this service. I am not just starting out, and I am not out of touch with the needs of the business community or its employees. Since I started working, I have been very involved in a diverse group of Boards and organizations with one common theme – community service. It is my goal to give back to my community and to teach my children the importance of giving back to their community. I have a broad board experience and work well with many types of people.
